Deep Daan — the offering of lit lamps to the sacred rivers — is among the most beautiful sevas at the Sangam. Lamps are offered in your name at the confluence, accompanied by mantra and sankalp by our priests.
Each package includes lamps, ghee/oil, flowers, sankalp by priest, and boat arrangement where required.
Deep Daan is especially auspicious on Kartik Purnima, Dev Deepawali, Amavasya, during Pitripaksha in memory of ancestors, and alongside the daily Ganga Aarti. Many families offer Deep Daan on birthdays, anniversaries and in the name of departed loved ones.
